Hi! Vi Wickam here for myTalentForge.com.
Just a little reminder for this week’s Quick Tip… You only get one body.
So take care of it!
Whatever that means to you. You can take this to mean however you want it.
Eat good food, get plenty of rest, drink plenty of water, warm up before you play, stretch, do some yoga, get a massage now and then, read a book!
Do the things that make you feel good, that nurture your body, that nurture your spirit, that nurture your soul. Take care of yourself.
Get the rest you need. Don’t be a wound-up ball of stress, because it’s no good for you.
Don’t practice too hard if you’re stressing about it. Don’t stress about fiddle contests, or concerto contests. Practice, do what you can, and then let things go!
It doesn’t do you any good to worry about things. But it does you all kind of good to take care of your body.
Get the exercise and the rest that you need. Give your body good fuel, good nutrition, and take care of your body when you practice.
And that’s this week’s Quick Tip. You are awesome! Take care of your body, and I will see you next time!
