Hi, I’m Vi Wickam, and this is your [my] Talent Forge Quick Tip of the Week!
It’s never too late to start. Time is now. The time is now for picking up your instrument!
The time is now for practicing. The time is now for getting together with your friends and jamming.
Stop putting off the fun, stop putting off what you’ve been waiting to do for a long time.
Don’t wait to pick up your violin and practice.
You’re not too old! I don’t believe that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks- because you can!
I’ve taught students that have started in their 40s, and their 50s. I’ve taught plenty of students who took lessons when they were younger, and stopped for 20 or 30 years, and came back to it!
I know people who came back to their instruments in their 60s and 70s- and some who even started in their 60s and 70s!
You are not too old. You can do this! I know it.
The time is now. Pick up that instrument, get your lessons scheduled. And start having fun!
What it’s too late for- it’s too late for putting things off. It’s too late for not having fun. So go do it.
And have a great week! See you next time.
