Description
This is a beautiful and distinctive violin presumably made by Henry J. Bolln of Douglas, Wyoming.
The wood in this instrument is excellent. The back is a two piece maple with lots of tight flame. The sides and neck and matched nicely, and also have lots of flame. The f-holes are distinctive, having triangular notches. The craftsmanship throughout the instrument is excellent.The varnish is a consistent yellowish color with a little brown tint.
The tone of this instrument is even and smooth. It is in near-mint condition.
