Just Say No – Quick Practice Tip

Hi I’m Vi Wickam and this is your myTalentForge.com Quick Tip of the Week.

Learn to say no! Now this is the third Quick Tip that I’m sharing some of my weaknesses with you. I’m not very good at saying no. But I’m getting better!

There’s so many opportunities and so much fun out there to be had in the world.

And I want to say yes to just about everything. But I can’t.

What happens when I don’t, is my life becomes crazy and a bit stressful. And I get to that point where I have to say to no.

And I can’t go on without saying no to something.

Usually what happens when I get to that point is something I really care about is suffering. I end up dropping the ball on something that is important to me that I care about.

It doesn’t happen all the time, but it does happen more than once in my life. To me that’s one of my most frustrating moments is when I drop the ball on something I really care about, and it effects one of my friends.

And I’ve learned that the only way to avoid that happening is to say no beforehand. To say no to things before I get to that point.

So I encourage you to look at your life, and look at what’s working, and see what’s not working. See those things that you need to say no to.

And say no to them now, don’t wait until you get to the point where you’re letting your friends down.

So, learn to say no!

It’s my challenge, and I challenge you with it as well.

That’s your Quick Tip of the Week. See you next time!
