Hello My Friends,
I’m back with another New Tune Challenge!
This is a unique New Tune Challenge because it’s not a regular fiddle tune. This tune is attached to words. In fact, they’re lyrics. It’s a song, not a tune, but I think it still counts because I wrote the melody to go with the lyrics.
My cowboy poet friend, John Chilson, wrote the words to this one. It’s called “I Been Thinkin’ ‘Bout You.” Check out my recording, then learn it on whatever instrument you’d like, whether it’s banjo, fiddle, guitar, or maybe even bassoon. Sing along, or just play the melody. Have some fun and show me your take on this song!
Listen to my recording, learn it by ear or by the sheet music below, and record your version and send me a link.
* Post a link to your video in the comments below, or share it on my Facebook page. And, if you want to just share it with me (not publicly), you can share the link with me on my contact page.
I can’t wait to hear your take on I Been Thinkin’ Bout You! Show me what you’ve got.
