String Summit 2020 – Improvising in Fiddle Tunes

July 26 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am MDT

Have you ever wanted to learn how to improvise like a fiddler? Improvising as a fiddler is different than playing Jazz or Rock and Roll. This interactive workshop will teach you tactics for how to improvise in fiddle tunes. We will work on how to go from playing the melody to really making a tune your own. Techniques covered include chord structure, arpeggiation, passing tones, accidentals, and more. Bring your fiddle and your questions.

Join me virtually at String Summit 2020 – Strings Without Boundaries! I’ll be teaching a couple classes via Zoom. Registration opens May 15th, here.
