Quilt Your Own Breakdown – Wyoming Fiddlers’ Association & the Wyoming Arts Council

I will be hosting a virtual fiddle workshop for the Wyoming Fiddlers’ Association and the Wyoming Arts Council.
In this workshop, I will use a popular fiddle tune, Sally Goodin, to teach participants how to take a simple melody and turn it into a great breakdown fiddle tune. We will listen to a number of iconic versions of the tune and identify elements that make the versions interesting. You will learn the structure and elements of a fiddle tune, and how to arrange them effectively to create your own killer version!
The workshop will be presented on Zoom. It will be 90 minutes long.

The cost of the workshop is $40 per participant and may be paid through Paypal at [email protected]. The fee is waived for participants 18 and younger, but registration is still required.
