ESGBA Christmas Party with Colorado Old Time Fiddlers’ Association

I will be performing at the ESGBA Christmas Party along with the Colorado Old Time Fiddlers’ Association again this year. It’s always a touching event to perform at, and I’m happy to be a part of it again.

The Colorado Old Time Fiddlers’ Association has been asked again this year to organize a group of fiddlers to play at the yearly holiday party sponsored by the Elyria-Swansea-Globeville Business Association (ESGBA).  The party will be held on Tuesday December 8, 2015, at the exhibition hall at the National Western Stock Show.  Fiddlers/guitarists will be performing around 6:00 p.m.

ESGBA sponsors this celebration for local families in the Denver Globeville area.  200 children and their families are invited to attend from the Garden Place and Swansea Elementary schools, ages 5-10 years old.  These families are less fortunate and would not otherwise be able to provide a holiday celebration for themselves.  ESGBA raises the funds and sponsorships to provide each family with food, such as turkey, ham, chickens, and dried fruit; toiletries; clothes, mittens, gloves and scarves; and blankets.  Each child gets to select a toy from Santa.

This event allows these families to have a holiday celebration they might not otherwise be able to enjoy.  It also allows them to get involved as a community.
