Colorado ASTA Conference Presentation

I will be giving workshop presentations at the Colorado ASTA Summer Conference, Monday, July 15th, at 4pm and Tuesday, July 16th at 3:35 PM on Making Technique Lessons Fun – Using Fiddle Tunes to Teach Technique.

Many important technical aspects of violin mastery can be taught in a fun context, using fiddle tunes as a backdrop for developing technical skills. From shifting, to double stops, and arpeggios, fiddle tunes can be a fun way to enhance your curriculum.

I’m really looking forward to sharing my fiddle teaching perspectives with other Colorado String Teachers and hearing their perspectives as well.

Different tunes and techniques will be presented at each workshop.
