I’m going to be teaching an Improvisation workshop with the Scottish Fiddle Club of Colorado in Denver on January 25th. We will be covering material that will be useful to fiddlers of all levels.

Violinists/Fiddlers:
You are cordially invited to attend a Fiddle Improvisation Workshop presented by the Scottish Fiddle Club of Colorado (www.scotsfiddle.org) featuring Vi Wickam. Mr. Wickam is a nationally ranked fiddle champion from Colorado (www.vithefiddler.com).

Cost: $20.00 per person
The workshop is intended for fiddlers (violinists) of any age or skill
level: students, teachers, amateurs and professionals. Although the presentation and materials will be centered on Scottish fiddling tunes and styles, the principles and materials are applicable to all styles of fiddling.
Because of space limitations, you need to reserve your spot and pay in advance of the workshop. NOTE: Parents of students who want to also attend the workshop will need to pay for a seat as well, unless they would like to wait in alternate seating areas in the church, or would like to drop their child off and pick them up after the workshop. Materials will be supplied.
