Waltz for Bridget Bridget’s Waltz is another one of those stunningly beautiful “Contest Style Fiddling” Waltzes. It’s kind of difficult, but the difficulty is not just for the sake of difficulty.
It’s just all kinds of silky smooth and awesome. Tonight is the first time I have ever played it all the way through, but I heard it enough times when I judged Weiser in June that it was in my head pretty well. 🙂
Wow! This is two tunes in a row of unknown origin. HELP!
Update from Rick Barlow: This tune was written by Rich O’Brien, a Texas Guitarist.

Commentary from Facebook:
Julie Amundson it is not called Bridget’s waltz. The correct name is Waltz for Bridget. It was written as a gift for his then wife for Christmas by Rich O’Brien. He doesn’t like it when it is called Bridget’s waltz. Waltz for Bridget…. that is the correct name.
