This is my 5 minute Music and the Mind talk I gave at Ignite Fort Collins #8 on May 19th.

Music is more important to the human race than it often receives credit for. Music connects us with our intuition. It creates discipline and focus in its students, and it even creates structure and synchronization in the brain.

It was also awesome getting all 300 people in the audience up and dancing. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I had an awesome opportunity to open for April Verch last night at Avogadro’s Number in Fort Collins. I was lucky enough to also have Brent Hawley available to join me on guitar. Thanks to Rob at Avo’s, Brent, and April for helping make it happen.
