Old Straw Bonnet is a cool old breakdown, and it’s not played that commonly. Mark Ralph and Jason Crisp are the two guys who influenced my version of this tune. It has this great modal quality going back and forth between G to F. Then it mixes things up even further by going to G minor.
I love that kind of musical creativity! I know nothing of it’s origin, so let’s find out…
