Blacktail Weasel and the Ground Squirrel Clan is an original tune by my Fiddle Whamdiddle Compadre, Steve Eulberg.
I really like it’s modal old-timey sound. I figured that it was an appalachian old-time tune until Steve told me that he wrote it.
I can just see that weasel chasing those prairie dogs, and them standing up and barking the alarm, and maybe throwing some dirt down on him.
